Reporting, blocking, review
Anyone can report or block. We review, rate-limit, remove content, or restrict accounts.
Prompts in context
For higher-risk steps like renting, trading, and hiring, warnings appear on the page itself, not only in the terms.
Prohibited services
Machi prohibits adult or sexual services, illegal offline services, high-risk private transactions, and content or transactions suggesting paid private companionship.
Scope of the community
Community features are for public city topics, local groups, Q&A, events, language exchange, housing, work, and local services, not private introductions or paid companionship.
Community guidelines
Harassment, hate, scams, impersonation, and dangerous conduct are prohibited; repeat violations are limited or removed.
Data and privacy
We do not sell personal data to advertisers, and safety review uses only the information it needs.
