Service description

Machi provides local-life information, city communities, local groups, Guide, memberships, digital resources, service bookings, business partnerships and related information tools.

Account registration

You must provide truthful reachable information and keep your account secure. Do not impersonate others, transfer accounts or bypass safety mechanisms.

User responsibility

You are responsible for posts, messages, transactions, meetups, bookings and business content, and must follow local laws, platform rules and third-party terms.

Content, community and safety

Posting rules

Content must be truthful, clear, non-misleading and respectful of rights and privacy. Machi may review, rank, label, remove or limit visibility.

Prohibited content

Harassment, hate and discrimination, scams, impersonation, fake hiring, fake housing, dangerous meetups, adult/illegal/violent content, privacy violations and spam are prohibited.

Reports and review

Machi may process reports, blocking, content review, business re-verification, risk prompts, account limits, suspension or deletion.

Paid features, businesses and high-risk information

Memberships, paid resources and service bookings

Membership benefits, resource purchases, service bookings, refunds and cancellation rules follow the relevant terms, order pages and payment platform rules. Payments on Machi are only for platform services, digital resources, verified promotions, advertising, memberships and clearly described service bookings. They are never used for dating, matchmaking, paid companionship, adult services, or one-on-one date brokering.

Businesses and local services

Businesses, hiring, housing, services and events must comply with local law. Machi may verify or label them, but does not guarantee quality, price, availability or outcomes.

High-risk information disclaimer

Machi does not guarantee housing, transactions, hiring, admission, visas, banking, employment or business service results. Users should verify independently.

Offline meetup disclaimer

Users must judge safety for offline meetups, transactions, events and language exchange, prefer public places, keep records and report risks quickly.

Rights, changes and liability

Intellectual property

Users keep their content rights but grant Machi the license needed to provide, display, recommend, translate, promote and safety-review the service.

Suspension and deletion

Violating content may be removed and accounts may be limited, suspended or deleted. Serious abuse, illegality or safety risks may lead to permanent action.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Machi is not liable beyond legal requirements for indirect loss, third-party actions, user content or outcomes it cannot guarantee.

Service changes, law and contact
