Machi Coins are an in-house (self-issued) prepaid payment instrument as defined by Japan's Payment Services Act (資金決済法). This page lists the statutory disclosures. It is not legal advice.

1. Issuer

- Zhixike Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (XICO AI), a company registered in the People's Republic of China that develops and operates Machi. Address: Rm 215A, Rm 410, 4/F, Bldg 1, No. 19 Guangsheng Rd, Nansha, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Representative: Yao Kai.

2. Nature and conditions of use
- Name and how to purchase
- Name: Machi Coins (Machi 币). Purchased as top-up packs via App Store in-app purchase (iOS) or Web checkout; prices as shown on each pack (anchored at 1 coin ≈ ¥1 JPY).
- Where usable
- Usable only inside the Machi app and machicity.com for digital resources, templates and compliant platform services. Not redeemable for cash, not transferable, not withdrawable.
- Validity
- Machi Coins do not expire.
- Purchase limits
- No cap on held balance; per-purchase amounts follow the offered packs (currently up to 64,800 coins per pack).
- Checking unused balance
- After signing in, the balance and full ledger are visible anytime in the app (Settings → Machi Coins Wallet) or on the Web wallet page.
- Refunds
- Purchased coins are in principle non-refundable except where required by law (e.g. discontinuation of issuance). Packs bought through the App Store follow Apple's refund rules; coins from an Apple-refunded pack are clawed back from the balance.
3. Other statutory matters
- Notes
- Balance handling on account deletion or suspension for terms violations follows the Terms of Service. Coins may be temporarily unusable during maintenance.
- Terms
- Use of Machi Coins is governed by the Terms of Service, Membership Terms and Refund Policy on this site.
- Security deposit
- If the unused balance exceeds the statutory threshold (¥10,000,000) on a base date (March 31 / September 30), Machi will file with the competent Local Finance Bureau and deposit the statutory security as required by law.
