What can be submitted

Rentals and shared homes

Show area, monthly rent, management fees, deposits, key money, agency fees, guarantor requirements, move-in date, and shared-living conditions.

Compliant sublets

State landlord or manager permission, available term, contract conditions, prohibited uses, and handover details.

Housing guides and risk notes

Fee explainers, viewing processes, and warnings can be submitted, but general information must be distinguished from promotion of a specific listing.

Publication and review requirements

Prove the entity and right to publish

Provide the agency, operator, landlord, or sublet authorization, a real contact, and the matching city.

Disclose fees and restrictions

Do not hide upfront costs, renewal fees, move-out charges, guarantor conditions, occupancy restrictions, or other material terms.

No false listings or payment pressure

Duplicates, stolen images, fake low prices, unverifiable addresses, or large off-platform transfers before viewing or contract are not accepted.

No reach or transaction guarantee

Review or verification does not mean Machi guarantees the listing, contract, or counterparty, and it does not guarantee inquiries, signing, move-in, or rental outcomes.
